User testing allows a further level of compliance for a website or app. Access user testing includes testing with disabled people with a range of access needs, some using assistive technologies and access tools to get online.
To find out how truly accessible a site or app is, we work together with a large pool of users with a variety of access needs, e.g. blind screen reader users, visually impaired screen magnifier users, D/deaf and hard of hearing users, users with specific learning difficulties, including dyslexia and users with physical disabilities.
Test formats include focus groups, one-to-one sessions and pairs. Currently all our user testing is online, presenting a great opportunity to reach many more users and to record and share sessions.
UK government advice on the Gov.uk site is that service providers must make sure their sites work with common assistive technologies. We can recruit, facilitate and analyse findings from user testing for our clients.
